BALIMO "ASSIST ROLL"

The BALIMO®ASSIST-ROLL is identical to the BALIMO®ROLL, but has two additional seat handles that primarily serve as grab handles to give the user safety on the freely movable seat surface. Ideal for older people, people with diseases of the central nervous system, after strokes or "just" after a slipped disc, to regain lost security, keep the head fit through physical exercise and train the muscles throughout the body.

• The BALIMO® philosophy and information on the seat surface: The 360° joint of the BALIMO®, which can move completely freely, is embedded in the seat plate and is a direct extension of the spine. The point of movement of the BALIMO® is therefore as close as pain-free possible to the body's natural point of movement - the pelvis. By balancing on the seat surface, the muscles located deep below the outer back muscles, which cannot be voluntarily tensed (autochthonous) and are responsible for natural posture, are trained. The seat surface also stimulates the deeper back muscles by applying pressure to the acupuncture points located at the ischial tuberosities, thus additionally stimulating the functions of the back muscles. The pelvic floor muscles are also autochthonous and are sensitized and trained by the variety of pelvic movements on the BALIMO®. The seat surface exerts pressure on the acupuncture points responsible for the deeper back muscles, providing a quickly noticeable effect, especially in the lower back area.
